Lipidomics

Lipids are molecules generally soluble in organic solvents. They are known for their role in energy storage and structuring of cellular structures, but they also play an important signaling role in many diseases. The lipids may be present in very small or very large quantities, with extremely heterogeneous structures. It is therefore difficult to provide an overall analysis of these molecules, because of their complexity. The analyzes are family-dependent.

Metatoul proposes to quantify these molecules by conventional methods of gas and liquid chromatography coupled or not with mass spectrometry but also NMR, in all kinds of micro-samples: biological fluid (plasma, urine ...) cells, plant tissues (liver, brain, kidney, heart, intestine, muscle ...).
