Eric HOUDEAU, Research Director (DR2) INRAE - PhD, HDR
Leader of the ENTeRisk team, Eric Houdeau joined INRA in 1997 at the Animal Physiology Department (Jouy-en-Josas Center) before joining the Toulouse Researech Center in 2003. He was trained in physiology, endocrinology and neuroscience. Studied the hormonal control of intestinal barrier function (regulation of epithelial permeability and inflammatory response by estrogens) before setting up several research projects on endocrine disrupters in food, in particular bisphenol A ( BPA) (INRA 2010 press: http://www.inra.fr/Entreprises-Monde-agricole/Resultats-innovation-transfert/Toutes-les- actualités / action-Bisphenol-A) (press INRA 2014: http: //presse.inra.fr/Communiques-de-presse/Bisphenol-A-et-intolerance-alimentaire-un-lien-etabli-pour-la-premiere-fois). Since 2013, he has been developing programs of national and international collaborations in Nanotoxicology on the fate and effects in the gut of nanoparticles used in the agri-food sector (model nanoparticles, food additives with nanodimensioned fraction, in the example of the dioxide of titanium E171) (press INRA 2017: http://presse.inra.fr/Communiques-de-presse/Additif-alimentaire-E171).

Bruno Lamas_ID-1

Bruno LAMAS, Research Scientist (CRCN) INRAE, PhD

Bruno Lamas was recruited at INRA in 2017 after post-doctoral stage at the INRA MICALIS Unit (Philippe Langella laboratory, Jouy-en-Josas), at INSERM Hopital Saint Antoine (Harry Sokol laboratory, Paris), then at McMaster University (Elena Verdu Laboratory, Hamilton, Canada). In the ENteRisk team, he addresses the effects of xenobiotics in the microbiota-intestinal dialogue and the intestinal immune response, from the time of development of the host (consequences for the newborn, then the adult). The objective is to evaluate the role of gut microbiota in the "health" effects of food contaminants and chemical additives, particularly nanoparticles.
