Bernard SALLES, Prof. Pharm., Dr Vét, PhD

Bernard Salles, Pharmacist (Paris V University, 1975), Veterinarian (Maisons-Alfort, 1976), has a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology (Paris VI University, 1980) and a Ph.D. thesis in bacterial genetics. (University Toulouse 3, 1983).
Recruited in 1980 Assistant in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Faculty of Pharmacy Toulouse, he was appointed Professor of Toxicology in 1991. He has developed a research in molecular pharmacology of antitumor drugs and more recently in genetic toxicology. He created and directed (1991-2010) a team at the Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology (UMR CNRS / University) on DNA damage repair and genomic stability control projects.
He has been in the US at Texas Medical School (Houston) and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley). He is co-author of more than 120 publications and 3 patents. He created and directed (1992-2003) the Doctoral School Biology-Health-Biotechnology of Toulouse and the master of cancer (2007-2015). He participates or has participated in Toulouse scientific councils or committees of the faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy, the University, the Veterinary School of Toulouse as well as the MESR, CNRS, INSERM, INRA, AERES and European Community. He led the UR66 INRA Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2009-2010.

Agronomist Engineer, Ph.D., HDR - animates since 2002 the team of Immuno-Myco-Toxicology. She is interested in the effects of mycotoxins on swine by analyzing the effects of these toxins on the immune response and intestinal barrier function. Isabelle Oswald is an expert at ANSES (Contaminants and Contaminants Committee, Chemical and Physical Contaminants Committee), ILSI (International Life Sciences Institute), and EFSA (working groups "detoxification of mycotoxins" and "toxins of Fusarium" ). She participates on several editorial committees (Veterinary Immunology and Immunopathology, Journal of Animal Sciences, The Open Veterinary Science Journal and ISRN Veterinary Science).

Rafael GARCIA-VILLAR, PhD - DR2. INRA

Doctor of the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (1979), joined INRA in 1980. He conducted until 1991 research on the physiology and pharmacology of the genital tract in ruminants. After a sabbatical year as an associate researcher at Cornell University, New York College of Veterinary Medicine (1992-1993), he joined the rank of Research Director of INRA (1995). Assistant Director (1999 to 2006) of the Neuro-Gastroenterology and Nutrition Unit (Toulouse, Human Nutrition Department), his main area of ​​research during this period concerns the pathophysiology of the gastrointestinal tract, visceral sensitivity and safety food. In 2003, he was appointed by the Directorate General of INRA, at the request of the Ministry of Research and the Research DG of the European Commission, as the French "National Contact Point" (NCP) for the thematic priorities " Quality & Food Safety "(FP6-FOOD, 2003-2006) and" Food, Agriculture & Fisheries, Biotechnology "(FP7-BIO, 2007-2013) of the 6th and 7th European Framework Programs for Research and Development. He is now coordinator of the HORIZON 2020 PCN-BIO in charge of the "Societal Challenge 2: Food Security, Agriculture ...". In this capacity, he is a member of the management unit of the Food Department and of several European expert groups on food-health research.
